Architecture
Buildings are deeply emotive structures which form our psyche"
Newcastle upon Tyne has evolved into a vibrant regional metropolis, distinguished by its rich and diverse architectural landscape. This project captures the city’s character through architectural photography, highlighting the intricate details and unique forms that define its built environment. From elegant classical structures to striking modern developments, and the bold presence of late 1960s and 1970s Brutalist design, the imagery explores the full spectrum of Newcastle’s architectural identity. Each photograph aims to reveal not only the buildings themselves, but the stories, textures, and contrasts that shape the city’s visual narrative.
